AP Degree in Leadership and Management

The leadership and management programme is an adult/continuing higher education program. The programme will give you concrete, elementary tools for leadership and management which will enable you to secure professional and personal development of your co-workers.

This programme is aimed at prospect students with a work career already but wishing to pursue a qualification within the field of Leadership. The programme is a 1 year Academic Professional Degree (AP degree) in Leadership and Management.

As an ongoing process in this programme you will undertake projects – both on your own and with groups of peers. These projects will challenge you to be creative, use your initiative, and think freely, and they will give you practice in working with others, and knowledge about different business environments.

The purpose of the AP Leadership and Management programme is to develop your independence and your ability to analyze and assess practical problems in different business areas. It enables you to carry out various jobs, such as project manager, team manager, head of department etc., both at national and international levels. Combined with your practical knowledge, this short cycle programme  will increase your employability, and give you the opportunity  to continue your career or further your studies in the field of leadership and management

Programme information

The study programme is a 1 year full-time programme, 60 ECTS. The programme is divided into 2 semesters and includes 4 special modules, Thesis and Final Project:
All 4 modules have compulsory project reports and final state-controlled exams that must be passed in order to be allowed to write Thesis and Final Examination
After having passed the exams an official certificate will be issued and you will be able to apply for admission to Diploma in Leadership. Please find more information about the Diploma programme in the specified section.

The programme has the following 4 modules:

●    Organisational theory
●    Leadership in practice
●    Leadership
●    Project management
●    and a Report on specially studied subject

Thesis and final evaluation:
All special modules and the Final Project are concluded by an external test and the Thesis Sequence is concluded by an internal test. All tests are evaluated individually.
After completion of thesis and passing of final exam an official certificate will be issued.
